About DC Metro Real Estate Market
Washington, DC was created as the National Capitol, a city of monuments and museums, power and influence. Its one hundred square miles are home to more
than five hundred sixty thousand people. Quiet, tree-lined streets are found in all four quadrants of the city, as well as in its Maryland and Virginia suburbs. Capitol Hill Real Estate and Georgetown Real Estate, remain strong and these areas are sought out places to live with vibrant shopping and entertainment steps away. AUPark Real Estate and Shepherd Park Real Estate, on either side of Rock Creek Park, are quieter close-in neighborhoods with a more suburban feel, although both are within easy reach of shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Penn Quarter Real Estate is a ten year old amalgam of restored and new apartment buildings in downtown, surrounded by museums, shopping, restaurants and all kinds of entertainment.
